Living your best life doesn’t have to be complicated. It actually boils down to choice. Make these choices on a regular basis and you will be well on your way to living a truly great life.
1. Smile more.
Trick your brain into thinking you are happy even if you are not. Attract happier people into your life. Change your mood and change the course of your day by choosing to smile.
2. Choose your friends wisely.
You are who you spend the majority of your time with. Does your inner circle challenge you be the best version of yourself? They should.
3. Think positively.
Negativity can lead to depression, heart disease, and overall pain and joint discomfort. Positively leads to better health and improved relationships.
4. Get rid of stuff.
Minimize your possessions and become intentional about what you own. Become more concerned with things that really matter like time, people, and health.
5. Open your Bible.
Friend, you can do all the things. You can eat well, exercise, smile, and declutter but if you do not have an ongoing relationship with Jesus, you have nothing. He is life.
6. Start a gratitude journal.
Thankfulness leads to happiness. People will enjoy being around you. Your relationships will improve. Healthy relationships are key to living your best life.
7. Get outside.
This is seriously so important. Research shows that getting outside improves your mood, lowers blood pressure, reduces stress and leads to an overall better you.
8. Do something for someone else.
There isn’t much that can compare to the wonderful feeling of giving whether it’s time, money, resources, or simple kindness. Serving others is possibly the most important thing you can do start living your best life.
It’s up to you, friend. If want something you’ve never had, you have to be willing to do something you have never done. Open your heart and your mind to hear what God has for you. You are deeply loved and worthy.
